About ReplyClerk

ReplyClerk is a review reply management service for local businesses. It connects to your Google Business Profile, drafts replies that respond to each customer's specific comments, and handles the posting workflow so every review gets a response.

The service runs on a simple split. Replies are drafted first, and sensitive reviews (lower stars, complaints, anything that needs a more careful tone) are held for the business owner to read, edit, and approve before going live.

Why This Exists

Most review management platforms bundle replies into a larger suite of reputation tools, social media dashboards, or marketing automation, usually with canned responses. ReplyClerk handles this in a single step by replying to Google reviews that are tailored to your customer's specific comments.

Most businesses know they should respond to every review, but doing so is time consuming. Businesses that respond to every review consistently see more engagement on their profiles and build stronger relationships with customers who took the time to leave feedback. But writing thoughtful, specific replies to every review is a real time cost, and most businesses either fall behind or stop responding entirely.

How It Works

ReplyClerk is added as a manager on your business's Google Business Profile. Your business keeps full ownership of your profile and can remove ReplyClerk at any time. When a new review comes in, ReplyClerk drafts a reply that references what the customer wrote. Sensitive reviews go through an approval step before anything is published.

Who It's For

ReplyClerk is built for local businesses that receive Google reviews and want each review to receive a response. That includes single-location businesses, multi-location groups, and larger business networks with 10 or more locations that need consolidated billing and rollout support.

Founder

Hank Fasthoff is an attorney and the founder of ReplyClerk. He also owned two restaurants over a period of 10 years and learned that responding to Google reviews is a persistent operational drain. He saw the same problem from a different angle through his legal practice, where many clients' reputations are highly dependent on the quality of the reviews they receive. The stakes are higher than many business owners may think, and most businesses either fall behind or stop responding entirely. ReplyClerk exists to close that gap.
